A while back, Marc posted a great list of skills that he found essential for the twenty-first century. On the surface, they provide some concrete suggestions for teachers as to what skills and talents we should be nurturing in our classrooms. On closer inspection, they provide guidance for anyone doing any kind of creative work, regardless of age. They’re inspired, in part, by Steven Covey’s The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, but they resonate with what most thought leaders on creativity and productivity have been talking about over the last few years.
